Katie & Ryan's Mill Street Brew Pub Wedding

Katie & Ryan's Beautiful Wedding

Where to begin with this perfect wedding! Well, I can first start by saying I’m not a crier, but this wedding “got me”! From the sentimental details passed down from generations, the love for one another that Ryan & Katie share, the amazing vows, the ceremony readings and the wonderful group of people who support them. Everything about this wedding came together so beautifully!

Ryan and Katie share a love for music, it actually brought them together in 2011 at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, TN. It wouldn’t be right to have a wedding without having amazing music involved. Pleasure Craft started off the night with their “First Dance” and Katie’s brother along with a friend sang during the “Mother & Son” dance. To top things off musically, Ryan came up to me around 10pm and said, “I’m going to surprise Katie by singing her a song, I totally suck at singing, but I’m doing it!” Ryan sang "She Is My Everything" by John Prine. Katie’s reaction was priceless. Ryan, you did a FANTASTIC job!

Ryan is currently living in Nashville and Katie will be joining him this Fall, along with their adorable Beagle/Bassett/Jack Russell mix, named Bruiser, A.K.A their “Fur Baby”. Katie & Ryan love him so much, so they blew up a photo of Bruiser and made sure he was on my “shot list” of photos to take-lol I think this is early signs of how amazing they’ll be as human parents.

So many amazing details went into Katie & Ryan’s wedding. The center pieces were lovely, the cupcakes were adorable, the gift table with notes to the bride & groom was such a great idea, but the sentimental details really pulled on my heart strings. Katie had beautiful tiny frames with photos of loved ones she lost, attached to her bouquet. Katie’s grandfather, gave a compact to her grandmother on their 1st anniversary. Inside a note was written to Katie & three colourful fabric hearts all cut from her mother & grandmothers wedding dresses. “Something blue were Katie’s shoes and a small amount of dried lavender from her mothers garden. Katie gave me the lavender to photograph on a beautiful handkerchief her mother received as a child from a dear friend. All these amazing details just added to the rest of the hard work everyone put in to plan this special day.

Katie & Ryan, once again CONGRATULATIONS!!! It was an honour for me to be part of your wedding day. Enjoy your sneak peek ;)
